Job Description

JDE is driving continuous improvement through its internal program called Manufacturing Operating System (MOS)”. This combines TPM (Total Productive Management) and Lean methodologies, and gives you the possibility to build a strong network within our company on site as well as international.

  • Drive and lead the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Program (MOS) in the Berlin plant to deliver the Value Creation Plan 2022
  • Deliver a clear understanding of the requirements for the continuous improvement process and deliver successful Kaizen and 6 Sigma projects
  • Train and coach Production Engineers, 6 Sigma Belts and Kaizen team leaders to ensure timely project execution and successful implementation of solutions
  • Support identification and chartering of new projects and set-up a clear MOS   governance process
  • Play a key role in the preparation, execution and follow-up of the plant MOS roadmap with the plant leadership team
  • Identify improvement and development opportunities through internal and external benchmarking
  • Organize regular sessions with all key plant stakeholders to share the MOS status and drive behavioural change across the plant to build a zero-loss mindset
  • Collaborate within the Region and MOS Network as well as with CI Managers from other plants across categories and countries to communicate the global benchmarking methodology. Support the Region and the MOS Network on benchmarking best practice database

Qualifications

  • University degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Proven skills in TPM and 6 Sigma/Lean methods (Green Belt certification)
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong project management & planning skills
  • Ideally experience with Data analytics (Power BI, SharePoint, Databases)
  • Problem-solving skills and hands-on approach
  • Fluent in English and German
