Job Description

MEA (Middle East & Africa) consists of 15+ countries and represents a mix of the on-the-ground operations in 3 countries (Morocco, Turkey, South Africa) as well as existing and future export markets, representing the biggest growth opportunity for the company globally. As the Sales Director MEA you will be responsible for setting the Sales Growth and Transformation agenda and ensure timely implementation in Coffee and Tea categories at the MEA Region level.

Main purpose of the role is to provide leadership while working together with operating unit management to:

  • Capture NOS and EBIT opportunities through Strategic Revenue Management tools and processes,
  • Design and implement sales systems landscape for region in cooperation with Global Centre of Excellence,
  • Design and implement improvements to JDE MEA’s GTM processes and systems that translate into tangible benefits and advantaged capabilities,
  • Develop sales capability by leading the implementation and sustainment of field ready sales tools,
  • Leveraging centre of excellences for Sales Best Practice Tools implementation and sustainment,
  • Bridge between Global & Local teams and be the MEA Ambassador in the sales community / Best practice sharing with other similar markets,
  • Support marketing with introduction strategies of NPD ‘s.

For this role as a Sales Director MEA, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Experienced sales leader with proven track record of delivering results and strategic revenue management (minimum 10 years of relevant sales experience in leading FMCG companies within MEA markets)
  • Ability to manage a changing workload in a dynamic deadline-driven changing environment
  • Demonstrated drive, confidence and risk taking
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs and initiate action
  • Capability to release the power of one and develop people
