Job Description

The role is based in Ørestad, Copenhagen - 25 min in train from Malmö.

You will get a unique opportunity to interact with colleagues from all business areas within JDE, and furthermore interact with our Global HQ in Amsterdam. You will be reporting to the HR Services & Facility Manager Nordics.

Your responsibilities

The payroll specialist, will be responsible for ensuring a flawless payroll delivery and a great employee experience through proactively collaboration with our outsourcing vendor, and various internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Support the execution of the end-to-end payroll process ensuring high quality, timeliness, completeness and correctness
  • Drive the corporation with outsourcing vendors and proactively address all identified gaps and issues
  • Manage leave administration in cooperation with employees (e.g. plan maternity and paternity calendars with employees)
  • Proactively address employees’ queries and issues related to payroll and labor legislation in Sweden, and ensure they are promptly and correctly resolved. Deliver a great employee experience in the resolution process.
  • Drive and implement ad-hoc projects and/or new policies
  • Ensure that any company benefit programs, medical care, pensions, bonuses etc. are managed efficiently and effectively and monitor compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Furthermore, you will work with compensation & benefit tasks, such as:

  • Prepare and drive the annual compensation review process (preparation, communication, execution/tools, reporting)
  • Work closely with HR to coordinate the communications of all the compensation, benefit plans and HR programs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a self-driven, process and service-oriented team player with min 5 years of experience within payroll operations in the Swedish market.

You combine expert knowledge and have a passion for delivering a great service experience. You are proactive and do not hesitate in engaging with stakeholders at all levels to address and resolve any issues. You have excellent communication skills and a strong result orientation. You may have worked in a similar role in a global organization or as a consultant within the payroll area.

Written and spoken Swedish and English fluency is a presumption for this position, and experience in SAP is an advantage.
