Job Description

Commercially JDE is divided into two business units, Retail and Professional. The professional business unit is aligned with ‘on the go’ consumption of our brands including customer such as offices, hotel groups, pubs and bars and hospitals.

Professional makes up approximately 25% of the UK&I business. This position sits within the Direct sales team, in our Professional business. With responsibility for supporting our major national account contracts with the Direct sales team in order to drive new business and develop existing accounts through the acquisition of new contracts.

As an integral part of the Direct Sales team the Tender Specialist will research tenders in the B2B space, compiling reports and schedules aligned with tenders in the public domain. In addition, the Tender Specialist will work as part of a cross functional selling team with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Finance in order to deliver our growth agenda.


  • Graduate calibre, preferred.

  • Able to research data and compile into logical processes.

  • Good understanding of tender principles and fundamentals ideal

  • Strong (commercial) acumen and IT skills.

  • Able to work closely with stakeholders to break down complexity to deliver clear messaging

  • Self-Motivated – highly disciplined

  • Influencing skills – good impact presenting to different levels of stakeholders

  • Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver multiple objectives 

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
