We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Specialist with strong SAP experience and skills to join our team in Gordon (North Shore) on a permanent full time basis.  (You will occasionally need to go to our Kingsgrove Roastery also so a drivers licence will be advantageous). 

You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels – people love their coffee so we need to make sure they can get it! 

Your role will include : 

  • Coordinate the local and global IBP process 
  • Manage product forecasts and demand deviations through collaboration with Sales teams 
  • Action demand deviations and improve forecast accuracy 
  • Collaborate with business managers to maintain long range forecast
  • Inventory management and reporting ensuring product freshness
  • Minimising slow moving, obsoletes and excess inventories 
  • Maintenance of agreed lead times, minimum order quantities and safety stock settings
  • Working collaboratively with suppliers, co-packers and production plants, managing the supply that supports demand and operating working capital targets  
  • Contribute to various New Product Development projects 
  • Raise Purchase Orders / Co-packer work orders

Qualifications

In your resume, we would like to see: 

  • 3+ years of supply/demand/inventory management experience
  • 2+ years experience using SAP APO & R3
  • Highly developed analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think on your feet 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including managing relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • Ability to work within and develop a high functioning team during a period of change 
  • Organisational and time management skills with willingness to deliver to deadlines 
  • Experience within an FMCG or Pharma will be highly regarded
