Job Description

Position assumes responsibility of well established Israel export market, and newly launched Middle East markets.

In Israel, highly affluent market, JDE has already strong performance, focusing on global jewel brands.  

Middle East, where JDE established sales recently, is very diverse, inspiring and growing region with markets offering a full array of opportunities as well as business challenges. Region scope includes UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan as well as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman.

We are currently looking for a Brand Manager to pursue further business growth in Israel and execute marketing growth model in Middle East.

REPORTING: Marketing Manager, Middle East & Israel

LOCATION: Istanbul (Turkey) or Kyiv (Ukraine)

POSITION PURPOSE:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy of the relevant category and brand on a local level within the central category and brand guidelines set, based on the local strategy developed by the Marketing Manager ME&Isr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Defines and achieves the financial plan (AOP/LRP) for a category
  • Working with local team generates ideas for NPD and implements NPD’s for local and global brands, to ensure category and brand growth. Manages local product adaptations within the context of central innovation decision making and coordinates all activities within the scope of local launches of New Product Development or Product Adaptations.
  • Is responsible for local range management to ensure a sustained yield of rangeland products while taking into account range resource status.
  • Works in close cooperation with regional media manager and local media agencies to ensure development of the efficient media strategies.
  • Defines and implements the category plan, to achieve the defined targets in line with the global brand strategy. Translates the category strategy guidelines into local marketing campaign by managing local execution of advertisement and promotion activities.
  • Translates brand packaging design guidelines into local brand artwork.
  • Manages and develops local brands (i.e. developing local brand meaning & visual identity, manage local product adaptations etc.) within central Category guidelines and is responsible for executing local brand activation by using above- and below-the-line instruments within the context of central brand activation guidelines and using local consumer knowledge and insights.
  • Is responsible for compiling local knowledge and key market insight and sharing this information with the central marketing organization for potential innovations and trends.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Brand Manager with 5 years of relevant experience (in BM role min 3 years).
  • Experience with Israel market is preferred, experience with Middle East is a plus.
  • High proficiency level working with consumers insights and translation them into programs/activations.
  • Proficiency in digital activations.
  • Experience/seniority to work autonomously.
  • Experience of working with Distributor/Export model with all relevant instruments of building joint plans and deployment of programs.
  • Fluent English.
