Job Description

Job purpose

Carry out the controlling procedures – planning, analysis, evaluation, reporting, business partnering which supports the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interacting intensively with the core (Sales and Marketing) and with other local supporting functions (Supply Chain, IT, HR, Accounting) and, if needed, with the Cluster Management and with Central Teams;
  • Preparing ad-hoc analyses and business cases, supporting the decision-making process of the Management, acting as a key support for the Controlling Manager;
  • Owner / member of relevant projects, providing project management;
  • Preparing or coordinating the preparation of plans and forecasts (Annual Plan, Budgeting, Forecasts)
  • Preparing or coordinating the preparation of the daily / weekly / monthly management reports in accordance with the local requirements;
  • Maintaining / operating the required fundamental databases;
  • Providing regular and accurate information on the cost prices and profitability of the products sold by the company;
  • Providing up-to-date information for the management on discounts, price reductions, trade activations;
  • Following-up and reporting on marketing spending and overheads;
  • Participating in monthly closing and group reporting processes with close cooperation of all relevant stakeholders;
  • Participating in performing and/or reviewing the internal controls as per JDE’s internal control framework
  • Acting as a business partner, being active in providing support / consultancy to all relevant stakeholders, having the drive to gain business insight

Qualifications

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration or Accounting
  • At least 3 years experience in Controlling (FMCG multinational environment is an advantage)
  • Solid Excel & PowerPoint knowledge (Experience in working with SAP is an advantage)
  • Proactive, independent, and result oriented attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, and prioritization skills
  • Able to deliver results under time pressure
  • Fluent English and Hungarian
