Job Description

As our Field Sales Manager you will primarily be responsible for managing our Sales Team (3 direct reports) and state level Account Management (including increasing the value of Accounts) of existing customer accounts within the Hotels, BaReCa, Healthcare segments. By building relationships with internal stakeholders you will exceed customer expectations and deliver on revenue outcomes to JDE Professional.  You will have outstanding people leadership experience with a coaching mindset.

Join us based in Port Melbourne and lead our Field Sales team to deliver outstanding hot beverage ingredient and equipment solutions to our customers. As a hot beverage solutions provider, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in our ‘coffee culture’ and deliver on relevant and engaging solutions to our customers.

You will own the senior level customer relationships. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading, mentoring and guiding the Sales Team to ensure continued business success and personal growth and development 
  • Leveraging new business opportunities across multiple segments through tender responses and internal lead generation to realise incremental growth and revenue
  • Management of existing account base across multiple ‘direct’ segments
  • Budgeting, forecasting and business planning to achieve set budgets

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • Track record of leading high performing sales teams 
  • Highly developed sales ability both in account attraction and maintenance gained through working at a State / National level within FMCG sector 
  • Demonstrated commercial / financial management experience 
  • Experience with managing and achieving to plan/budget and focusing on bottom line profitability
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with well-developed presentation skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • A passion for all things coffee
  • Tertiary qualifications within Commerce, Business or Marketing (preferred)
