JDE Coffee & Tea Sourcing is one of the world’s largest green coffee buyers with it’s central office located in Utrecht, The Netherlands, supported by buying offices in countries like Vietnam, Indonesia and Brazil. The mission of Coffee & Tea Sourcing is to source and supply green coffee and tea commodities in time and at the right quality to the JDE manufacturing facilities, while ensuring cost and cash leadership. 

Due to internal development, we are looking for a Business Controller in Coffee & Tea Sourcing. In this position, you are responsible for the controlling and reporting of the supply chain for green coffee. You work together with the JDE Supply Chain and C&TS Logistics & Planning team as business partner for your area.

Main part of the day to day activities are cost control for the sea and inland transportation including month-end closing, internal controls for inventory, reporting and forecast of the green coffee inventory and working capital, working closely with the logistics teams to identify and drive improvement opportunities, transfer pricing documentation.

C&T Sourcing operates in a very dynamic and fast paced environment and the international team is based in the Utrecht Headquarters. You will report into the Global Finance Manager C&T Sourcing and you will work together with other (finance) teams and key stakeholders within JDE.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a Master’s degree in Finance or Controlling combined with minimum 6 years of work experience. Experience gained in a financial role in commodity trading or consumer goods company and/or with the SAP system is considered advantageous. You are a strongly analytical, accurate finance professional with good communication skills. You are not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo.
