In order to enable IT as a competitive advantage we are currently transforming our IT department towards a “combined business model” which consists of one high-end platform for all IT systems and users across JDE worldwide. This transformation is operated by the department Global Information Services (GIS), which operates in the expertise area’s: Service & Operations, Digital & Innovation. Enterprise Solutions and Strategy & Planning.

For the team Service & Operations, we are currently looking to hire an experienced IT Security Specialist with a wide experience limiting and reducing security threats in a global enterprise.   

In this role you will support us with:

• Enabling the future objectives for IT security in regard to processes, policies and guidelines;
• Delivering strong and repeatable results on the design of IT security at our factories worldwide;
• Creating a successful cooperation with global engineering teams and external vendors;
• Becoming a “top-of-class” team in the field of securing IT and OT assets;  
• Maintaining our agility to upgrade, integrate and maintain our systems.

To be successful in this role we are looking for a talented candidate who is open to support continuous improvement at JDE. In this job opportunity we have an interesting career challenge for a creative problem solver who is able to operate as a seasoned Security advisor and add value to the way we secure the daily production activities within JDE.

Our preferred candidate would also have:

• A bachelor or master’s degree in IT or a related field of study;
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT);
• Hands-on experience with assessing current measures, mitigating risks and design response plans;
• Familiar with mainstream operating systems (MES/SKADA) and common information security management frameworks (NIST/ ISO27k);
• The ability to speak and write English on a professional level;
• Well-developed people skills and the ability to influence without hierarchical power;
• Good analytical conceptual skills and experience with reporting to senior management;
• Preference to work in a highly dynamic and fast paced work environment.
