As Global VAT Compliance Manager your primary responsibility is to coordinate and manage all aspects of the Group’s VAT compliance processes and ensure VAT compliance requirements and filings are fulfilled. Your goal is to further develop and enhance the VAT Compliance capabilities of the Global Tax Team and insource the compliance activities (that are now carried out by external service provider) as much as possible.

Furthermore, the role will entail responsibilities such as:

• Automate and standardize the current process (including the use of robotics);
• Set up and implement the VAT compliance policy globally;
•  Creating reports, make analyses, risk assessments and presentations

In your role you report to the Global Indirect Tax Manager. You have no direct reports

To be successful in this role you have at least a Bachelor degree in Business Economics or an equivalent. Besides your educational background, we are looking for a candidate with at least 8 years of relevant working experience with VAT compliance processes. You have successfully automated procedures and understand the logic on ERP systems. If you have SAP knowledge, that would be great.
