Job Description

Position assumes responsibility of well-established Israel export market, and newly launched Middle East markets.

In Israel, highly affluent market, JDE has already strong performance, focusing on global jewel brands.  

Middle East, where JDE established sales recently, is very diverse, inspiring and growing region with markets offering a full array of opportunities as well as business challenges. Region scope includes UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan as well as Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to pursue further business growth in Israel and develop marketing growth model in Middle East.

REPORTING: Marketing Director MEA - directly, Cluster Export Manager ME & Isr – dotted line

LOCATION: Utrecht, Netherlands

POSITION PURPOSE:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the Marketing strategy development as well as implementing the Marketing Plan for the Export ME&Israel markets. She/He will report directly to MEA Marketing Director and will be part of the ME&Israel commercial team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES will include the following but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy to ensure Mental and Portfolio availability/growth

    • Portfolio and pricing strategy;

    • Brand support and activation.

  • Owner of the  Marketing Initiatives Master Plan for the ME&Israel cluster

  • Working close with the JDE distributors and partners to ensure full deployment and successful execution of the marketing initiatives

  • Ensure maximum effect from investments into brand through relevant and innovative approach in advertising support

  • Lead Marketing components within Planning process (consumption projection based on market trends, SOM development, activation plans)

  • Initiate, lead and execute innovation

Qualifications

  • A master degree and 7+ years of relevant insight, marketing and consumer planning/strategy experience in dynamic, consumer-facing industries and roles;

  • Experience in Middle East & Israel region is a must

  • Readiness to travel 30-50% of time

  • Very good command of English language, Arabic is a plus 

  • Strong strategic thinker, able to create compelling strategies and business plans

  • Well-developed consumer understanding, capable to identify consumer needs and translate them in business recommendations

  • Entrepreneurship, ability of identifying  growth opportunities and leverage internal and external resources to create and lead the implementation of successful marketing plans and activation campaigns

  • Strong Influential skills, very good communicator, able to fully engage the team and our business partners to implement JDE strategies and deliver stretch business results; position requires full collaboration across functions, work directly with regional and global teams as well as working in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

  • Proven experience in working with external agencies, both ATL and BTL and experience in developing digital activation.
