Job Description

We are looking for an IT Specialist acting as the primary contact for local business on any IT question there might be. The IT Specialist supports local IT budget and service levels within external providers like Accenture and BT, Act in a governance role for service provided from pour service and support partners onsite or remote, ensure that the quality of support and service meet expectation and service the user community well. Also acts as project manager for smaller local IT initiatives.

The role directly reports to the Cluster IT Manager and liaises within the Central IT organization in case new initiatives are requested, making sure the central solution specialists are involved from the start.

The role as Nordic IT Specialist has responsibilities cross the Nordic region. We do try to focus the work task on geographic home location as much as possible, but we expect that you can travel cross Nordic when needed. In Denmark we have 2 main locations, Copenhagen which is the Nordic HQ, and Middelfart. You are expected to be able to serve both sites on equal share.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage the operational client relationships with the local business’s process owners in order to ensure alignment between common solutions and the specific operating company situation.
  • Ensure that implemented IT Solutions and related services meet the requirements of the Operational Management, Operational Process Owners and key-users.
  • Responsible and accountable for local service contract in term of fulfillment, delivered service and correct charging along with the terms and condition in contract.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure, Network and Application Management groups to deliver solutions.
  • Play a local coordinator role of major functional and technical projects, as well have the ability to deliver smaller initiatives autonomous, align with requestor and on guidance from CITM, or central IT teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business discipline; Master’s Degree desirable
  • 3 years of experience in similar roles (technology/application operations, contract management)
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of IT architectures with an implementation focus required
  • Experience in working in a global IT environment; managing an external vendor relationship, both local and global
  • Eager to take ownership and initiative
  • Experience in project management and project delivery
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills required.
  • Flexible attitude in working outside office hours if necessary.
  • Fluent English.
