In Bulgaria, the company is represented by two of these iconic brands - the global power brand Jacobs with its Magic Aroma and the Bulgarian “fiery coffee” Nova Brasilia, a market leader in roasted and ground coffee and one of the most popular brands on the market.

The lean manufacturing engineer will participate in deploying the best practices in the manufacturing organization by taking initiative to support continuous improvement in various manufacturing processes by improving the control/operating systems and the logic behind them, improving the flow of material and setting up cycle times. He/she works towards achieving the manufacturing goals and objectives of the organization. He/she facilitates and executes projects to reduce the costs significantly by implementing Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

Essential Skills and Abilities
To make a successful career in the field of lean engineering, an individual should be adaptable to accept new changes in the field of lean manufacturing and should remain abreast with the latest developments happening in that field. He/she should be well organized and should have the ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly. He/she be self-driven with positive attitude and should be result oriented. Good analytical skills combined with good teamwork skills with proficiency in computers would be beneficial.

He/she uses his/her expertise to identify and recommend improvements by applying the relevant principles:
o To make optimum utilization of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to assist in preparing the feasibility studies and ensure that the costs incurred are justified
o To evaluate various improvements and create value analysis to reduce the costs in the engineering and manufacturing applications
o Assist in improving the manufacturing processes
o To develop methods that would help in reducing the cost without compromising on the quality standards
o To ensure increased efficiency and quality and make recommendations


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
• University education degree or about to graduate ideally in technical sphere
• organization skills and capabilities to handle multiple tasks
• Fluent or very good command of English
• PC proficiency (MS office)
