Job Description

The HR Business Partner aims to support the local organization in building leadership capability within the company, driving a performance culture and enhancing associate engagement. The role is accountable for executing the local HR agenda including people aspects as compensation and benefits, talent and performance management, local labor relations and associate engagement. We’re looking for a HR BP within the Professional Business unit who will be contributing to a successful and efficient working organization by facilitating, advising, mediating, discussing, challenging in terms of people and organization. The HRBP reports to the local HR Director and in dotted line to the Country Manager of Professional.

What you are going to do

  • You contribute to the implementation of the local HR strategy (Annual Operation Plan)
  • You coordinate, improve and implement the specific HR processes in the business segment within the scope of the organizational culture and structure.
  • You provide expert knowledge to the local management regarding associate engagement issues, organizational structures, change projects and managing local labor relations.
  • You function as an internal/external contact point for HR legislation issues/questions, questions regarding HR themes and processes. This in order to guarantee correct information flow and process continuation.
  • You’ll be responsible for the employee life cycle;
  1. Recruits permanent, graduate, and temporary associates in the local organization, in accordance with HR central guidelines.
  2. Implements the onboarding process for new hires;
  3. Facilitates the talent review process with the management team and coaching managers in performance reviews;
  4. Supports management in team development projects and organization processes;
  5. Identifies development needs of employees in the business unit and defining career/development plans with the related managers;
  6. Defines proactively succession plans to avoid critical job positions
  • You’ll be a member of the Management team of Professional and CPBW.

 

You are available:

  • 2 days a week from now to June
  • 3 days a week from June to November
  • Available most of the period between 23/7 & 26/8

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor or University degree in the field of Applied Economic Sciences, Business Sciences or Psychology, preferably with a specialization HR
  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in HR
  • You have relevant HRBP experience
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office and HR tools
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are preferably billingual Dutch – French with proper knowledge of English
  • Experience within FMCG or an international environment is a strong asset
  • Hands-on, independent and dynamic are words that describe you best
