Job Description

The Global IT Portfolio Delivery Team is accountable for the end to end delivery of projects and programs at JDE. The Global IT Project Methodology Specialist is member of the Global IT Portfolio Delivery Team and supports the project management community in the successful delivery projects. This function reports to the GIS Portfolio Delivery manager

The goals and key accountabilities of the IT PMO Process & Methodology Specialist are:

  • Ensure the periodic portfolio reporting is available and work continuously to improve reporting and the available data

  • Work with IT Portfolio Delivery manager to identify and maintain a maturity roadmap

  • Support, train and assist project management community on processes (new, revised, refresher)

  • Support project managers with questions

  • Maintain the project management knowledge base and ensure the project, process and template repository is current at all times

  • Identify, initiate, define, coordinate and implement improvements and new processes together with relevant stakeholders

  • Analyze quality compliance metrics and follow up non compliances

  • Work with project managers and portfolio delivery manager to identify action plans related to findings in post project surveys

  • Backup to Global IT Portfolio Delivery Manager

  • Work with Portfolio Delivery team to execute Project Management Community events and follow up on action items resulting out of the various events

  • Work with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

Education 
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in project or program delivery area
  • Solid understanding of Project Management disciplines and willingness to improve personal project management skills
  • Preferably PMP and / or Prince Certified;
  • Excellent communicator in English (verbal and in writing)
  • People skills and being able to influence without hierarchical power
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Experienced in at least one of the project management delivery methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, DevOps
  • Fluent in English
  • Accurate, self-starting and disciplined working attitude
