Job Description

The exponential growth of technology has made IT one of the critical success factors for every business function within JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. In order to enable IT as a competitive advantage we are currently transforming our IT department towards “One Platform” which consists of one high-end platform for al IT systems and users across JDE worldwide. This transformation is operated by the department Global Information Services (GIS), which operates in the expertise area’s: Service & Operations, Enterprise Solutions and Strategy & Planning.

For the Enterprise Solutions team, we are currently looking to hire an experienced solution manager with a wide experience in designing and implementing eCommerce technology within global B2B companies. 
 

As a Solution Manager at JDE you will have responsibility for: 

  • Enabling future objectives for the eCommerce business process in JDE worldwide; 
  • Delivering strong and repeatable delivery capabilities for our online B2B commercial activities;
  • Drive the innovation of our Digital Marketing, CRM and eCommerce architecture; 
  • Becoming a “top-of-class” team in the field of eCommerce within a corporate B2B environment; 
  • Creating the best cost for value delivered;
  • Maintaining our agility to easily upgrade, integrate and maintain our systems;
  • Supporting the Agile transformation at JDE. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we are looking for a talented candidate who is open to support the change at JDE. In this job opportunity we have an interesting career challenge for a creative problem solver, who is able to operate as a seasoned business adviser and add value to the way operate our eCommerce activities within JDE. 
Our preferred candidate would also have: 

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in IT, Marketing or a related field of study; 
  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in implementing eCommerce technologies like Salesforce, Hybris or Epi-server; 
  • Hands-on experience with implementing eCommerce systems in a B2B environment; 
  • The ability to speak and write English on a professional level;
  • Well-developed people & stakeholder management skills;
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills.
