This position is based at our Manufacturing site in Banbury. The Warehouse Shift Support Lead is part of the Logistics function that forms part of the wider Packing Team and play a key part of the wider Manufacturing function. The Manufacturing function ensures the integration of all key business processes from supplier to customers, green coffee beans to award winning coffee. The team covers sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and planning processes, they ensure optimal alignment between demand and supply at a global scale.

About the role:

The Shift Support Lead role is a critical part of the 24 hour Logistics operation in Banbury. Required to lead, coach, empower and develop their team they will ensure the team deliver sustainable results across the warehouse section.

With responsibility and accountability for all aspects of Safety, Quality, Performance and Continuous Improvement the Shift Support Lead will drive these through behaviours developing a culture of high action orientation, drive for results and improvement. 

The Shift Support Lead will be committed to putting people at the centre of the operation. By acting with integrity at all times they will recognise that sustainability of Safety, Quality, People and Production is driven through strong leadership and committed support for the team. They will be able to combine a transformational mind-set underpinned with a relentless drive to be the best today.

Education

• Degree level preferred not essential
• GCSE Math’s and English or equivalent

Experience

• People leadership experience ideally within an FMCG manufacturing/Logistics environment
• IOSH certified or willing to train.
• Experience and evidence of driving team engagement through leadership.
• Experience and evidence of developing a team to drive a performance culture.

Nice to have:

• Six Sigma qualified, Problem solving
