Job Description


As our new Category Marketing Specialist (encompassing Category, Brand and Trade Marketing), you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the local brand and portfolio strategy of the different product categories (Instant Coffee, Tea and Cross Sell Products) in Professional / Out of Home. Your responsibilities will include achieving successful local product and concept launches, pricing strategy and brand and product activation, thus addressing business opportunities contributing to sales and market growth.

You will: 

  • Develop brand and portfolio strategy based on trends, market development, consumer, customer and competitor insights
  • Lead NPD projects 
  • Launch products and concepts 
  • Develop product and brand positioning and messaging
  • Provide input on pricing strategy 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years Marketing experience preferably within a Foodservice / Out of Home market 
  • Experience with both Brand and Trade Marketing
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business (or related discipline)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Be willing to be hands on as well as handle some administration and finance related tasks
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • An upbeat positive attitude with a passion for all things coffee and tea!
