Job Description

As our new Nordic HR Director you will join more than 1.000 passionate and talented associates in the Nordics. You will lead a team of 10 HR professionals and be part of the Nordic Leadership Team in an international environment.

As HR Director you will oversee all sites and associates in the Nordics. We are a high pace business that continues to develop and grow creating a big HR agenda in the coming years. We want to create a united Nordic JDE where associates can lead and develop in an exciting environment. Integration of our new business will be high on the HR agenda which also includes an exciting range of new implementations, such as the roll out of a new Human Capital Management system, a new Employer Branding, and a new talent program for People Managers.

The role reports to the Retail General Manager with a dotted line to the European HR Director based at JDE global HQ in Amsterdam. The HR team today consists of 10 HR professionals covering Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, HR administration and Facility.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, drive and implement the HR roadmap and agenda across the Nordics

  • Be an active business partner and coach to the Retail and Professional Leadership Teams

  • Lead the People & Culture workstreams of newly-acquired businesses / integrations

  • Lead, coach and engage and highly passionate HR team

  • Ensures efficient and high-quality HR administrative services.

  • Manages local labor relations (unions, works councils etc.) in cooperation with GMs and local HR Business Partners

  • Participate and contribute to the global HR community and boards

  • Budget owner of SG&A, learning & development, talent acquisition and other people-related cost areas.

Qualifications

Candidate profile and experience:

  • Several years of HR leadership experience within a multinational environment

  • Proven track record in translating business objectives into strategic HR goals and action plans

  • Ambitious and intentionality to deliver over and above

  • Strong execution mindset and the ability to work in a high pace environment

  • High level of learning agility, self-awareness and overall adaptability

  • Strong communication skills in English and ideally one Nordic language.

  • Resilient and Self-confident creating a high professional credibility

  • A passionate team player
