Job Description

The exponential growth of technology has made it one of the critical success factors for every business function within JDE. In order to enable IT as a competitive advantage we are currently transforming our IT department towards a “combined business model” which consists of one high-end platform for all IT systems and users worldwide. This transformation is operated by the Global Information Services (GIS), which operates in the expertise area’s: Service & Operations, Digital & Innovation. Enterprise Solutions and Strategy & Planning.

Within Strategy & Planning, we are looking for an experienced internal communications professional who can support the IT community with the creation and execution of an internal communications plan focused on knowledge management across our IT professionals.  

In this role you will support JDE with:

  • Managing and operate our internal communication platforms like Workplace and SharePoint knowledge base;
  • Developing a communication toolkit for our Project Managers;
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing via existing platforms;
  • Managing a network of content owners;
  • Creating new communication strategies and proactively look for further improvements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we are looking for a talented candidate who is open to support the change at JDE. In our activities we have an interesting challenge for a creative problem solver who is able to work as a solid communications adviser and add value to the way manage our internal communication in the GIS team.  

Our preferred candidate would also have:

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in Communication;   
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a role of internal communications professional;
  • Hands-on experience in working with internal communication technology like Workplace, Yammer or Microsoft Stream;
  • Ability to speak and write English on a professional level;
  • Well-developed people skills;
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills.
