Job Description

  • This role would suit someone with UK Marketing experience from an FMCG background with an excellent track record in Above the Line (ATL) and Below the Line (BTL) campaigns.
  • Your main responsibility will be to lead the Instants brand activity in the UK, leading local activations, new launches and business/ brand strategy.
  • The role will also require strong relationship building skills to work locally (internal and external) and with our global brand teams.
  • P&L responsible, you will be expected to deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives.
  • The role involves the management of the Instants brand team and the continuous development of the brand plan, including new launches, 360 activation planning and strategy development to create high impacting and cut through advertising.
  • The person in this role being the natural successor to the Category Lead so the drive and ambition to progress is essential.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Several years, successful experience as a marketer of products which are emotionally important for the end customers, ideally in the FMCG sector.
  • Marketing expertise is essential in all its dimensions, strategic and operational.
  • Excellent track record of successful execution of brand strategy.
  • Exposure to the UK retail grocery market and understanding of the key drivers/ barriers
  • Great mental agility yet creative thinker
  • Proven track record of initiating and driving change successfully in previous functions
  • Strong leader and team player

Education:

  • Masters degree in a relevant subject, preferred
  • Minimum educated to A level standard
