Currently we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Commercial Controller for our Retail business in the Netherlands. The Commercial Controller has a business partner responsibility for our Category and Customer P&L’s. You will be reporting to the Senior Business Controller Multi Serve & Tea.

Your responsibilities

As a business partner to Marketing & Sales you will drive financial performance by setting ambitious targets and identifying opportunities. Your goal is to support decision making with solid finance advice and you will be actively involved in negotiations from a financial point of view. Where required, you directly engage with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss finance-related matters. In addition, you will work with the Marketing team on our Multi Serve and Tea business, and our Sales team on our Ahold-account.

• Analyse and report category and customer results and contribute to our monthly head office reporting;

• Actively work together with Marketing & Sales to optimize JDE performance while maximizing our retailers’ performance as well. Actively involved in customer negotiations and ensure deals are closed within budget;

• Calculate business cases and of new product developments, track performance and further improve our business case process. Eventually this may lead to a presentation of your outcomes to the Retail Management Team;

• Perform Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investment analysis to further improve our ROI.

• Master’s degree within Finance;

• 0 - 3 years' experience;

• Fluent Dutch and English;

• You are a strong business acumen combined with strong analytical skills;

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP BW.
