Job Description

In your role as the HR Manager your main responsibility is to partner with the business to create an agile organization that has the talent, capabilities, competences and functional alignment to deliver the current and future business needs. You will be key in kickstarting an evolution into a more agile organization, allowing the right reallocation of resources.

Next to that, you will lead and develop the Human Resource function to enable the Global R&D, Engineering & New Technologies departments to fulfill the current and future business needs for the Growth and Cost agendas of JDE. You do this in part by facilitating and building leadership & organizational capability within the responsible functions, driving a performance culture and enhancing associate engagement.

You will act as a coach and mentor to the managers, advising and challenges them on their leadership, their organization and competencies within their teams, promotes development of their skill-set to build confidence, competence and capability to deal with people opportunities. 

You will cover a total of 400 FTE. The Global R&D, Engineering & New Technologies organization comprises of 350 people based in two primary sites in the Netherlands and UK. The remaining associates are based in application centers in Russia, Brazil and Thailand.

You will be part of the Research & Development Leadership team, translating the global HR strategy into successful people strategies in your business areas.

You will report to the Global HR Director R&D and Operations, which in turn reports into the Chief Operations Officer.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Master’s degree combined with 10+ years of professional expertise in an international organization, of which most have been spent within the HR function in Research & Development. You’ve been at the forefront of leading operational excellence and transformation, with a strong ability to set and deliver tactical/strategic results, linked with business objectives.

You’ve shown your ability to translate plans into actions, to manage projects in the most efficient way and to challenge the existing and to drive change when necessary.
