Job Description

As a key leader within the ANZ Operations team, this role will give you the opportunity to manage the supply chain relationships with our key customers.  Working together with the Demand and Supply Planners, Vendor Replenishment Planners and third-party logistics suppliers and providing direction, support and coaching, you will ensure excellence in customer service with a continuous improvement approach to drive the best possible service levels for our customers.


This varied role will also be responsible for supporting order fulfilment, working closely with the National Business Managers and Demand Planners to meet promotional and baseline requirements, and with the Brand team to ensure on-time delivery of our NPD’s.  You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external including warehouse, transport, local and global factories and quality, and for investigating and resolving customer incidents.    A continuous improvement mindset together with a proactive communication with our customers’ supply chain management through collaboration meetings will be key to your success.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous customer service, logistics and supply chain experience ideally within a FMCG environment (with solid understanding of inventory management)
  • Strong communication, customer service and influencing ability
  • Ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively (eg Warehouse team, customers, suppliers, transport providers etc)
  • Outstanding experience in root cause analysis with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and within a team environment
  • Highly developed organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving ability and experience in process improvement
  • Ability to manage customer orders (including indent orders)
  • Ability to multi task and manage competing priorities 
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded
  • Your own vehicle and drivers licence (so you can visit our customers, other JDE sites and warehouse)
  • People leadership experience (one direct report in this role)
