Job Description

For the Nordic JDE HQ in Copenhagen, we are looking for a Credit Control Manager (AR Team Lead)

The Credit Control Manager leads a team of Accounts Receivables Analysts (both internal direct reports and outsourced shared services). The Credit Control Manager should have strong people management skills managing a diverse team but also be very hands on as end-responsible for Accounts with regards to Receivables. The role requires stakeholder management working closely with the Finance Directors of both the Retail (Offtrade) business and the Professional (Ontrade) as well as other parts of finance and sales and also with a link to the global JDE run-for-cash director (our OWC program).

  • Manage and develop a team of AR analysts and an external ASS team.
  • Develop the AR related processes and efficient ways of working (including implementation of central guidelines) and give input to the strategy
  • Monitor, follow up on and collect payments (from both organized larger Retail customers and dispersed smaller Professional customers) working closely with Sales
  • Manage reporting activities in SAP and BPC including aging according to specific deadlines (incl Month End Close and Annual Operating Plan) as well as to key stakeholders
  • Support the internal controls process in the area of AR controls
  • Participating in AR related projects with the necessary finance support and information.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Credit Control (AR) management (of both Retail and Professional customers)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of People Management
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Fluency of English a prerequisite while working knowledge in a Nordic language considered a clear advantage and working knowledge of the Scandinavian customer base an advantage
  • Knowledge of other parts of Operating Working Capital (Trade Working Capital) as well as finance/accounting in general (IFRS, local GAAP and tax, internal controls) a clear advantage
  • Experience in stakeholder management within a multinational FMCG considered a clear advantage
