Job Description
As an expert in Tea (and Coffee), our Brew Master sets and maintains the standards for beverage quality and taste to ensure our blends, reputation and competitive advantage are at the highest levels. As our Brew Master you will be the champion for Tea for and set the tone for Tea category ownership with your skill, passion and professionalism.
You will responsible for:
- Instilling a passion for Tea and Coffee across the NZ/AUS business
- Establishing and maintaining a rigorous raw material approvals program
- Supporting Innovation and New Product Development with subject matter expertise and sensory skills
- Developing new recipes/blends
- Monitoring quality and supply of Tea and Coffee commodities
- Providing Tea and Coffee expertise to support Sales & Marketing in a customer facing capacity (in person, media etc)
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:
- Be a passionate foodie – a lover of taste sensation
- Background in sensory evaluation
- Be an inspired presenter, for audiences of all sizes and types
- Experience managing a supply chain, from point of purchase to production
- QA and QC experience within a food / beverage capacity
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Strong system skills (SAP and MS Office are preferred)
- An upbeat positive attitude with a passion for all things tea and coffee!
