Job Description

We are looking for a Nordic Brand Manager to our office in Ørestad, Copenhagen to support defining and driving implementation of the brand strategy on a local level for more brands within the central category and brand guidelines set. 

Daily marketing contact to Local Shopper Marketing Team (all brand related questions). Drive brand strategy and managing brand tactics (5Ps) through project processes, supporting local markets to execute the plans. The Nordic Brand Manager reports to the Nordic Category Manager.

Goals & Accountabilities

The Nordic Brand Manager supports development of the vision and drives implementation of the marketing plan (strategy) for the local heritage brand (based on the overall strategy), in order to achieve short and long-term sales, profit and market share targets.

The Local Brand Manager manages the heritage brands on local level within the category/brand guidelines set. The role is responsible for compiling and sharing key market insights, portfolio deployment, range management, project management, campaign translation and execution, artwork translation, local brand management support.

Responsibilities will be compliant with the Marketing Governance Model.

Responsibilities & Key Activities

  • Supports defining and achieving the financial plan (AOP) for a brand/category. This by achieving the defined market share and brand equity targets.
  • Responsible for creating 24-month NPD plan as well as develop and drive brand launch and activation plan (1y).
  • Working with local shopper marketing team generates ideas for New Product Develeopment (NPD) and implements NPD’s for local and global brands, to ensure category and brand growth.
  • Is responsible for creating and executing brand activation by using above- and below-the-line instruments within the context of central brand activation guidelines.
  • and Manages local product adaptations within the context of central innovation decision making and coordinates all activities within the scope of local launches of NPD or Product Adaptations.
  • Project manage delivery of; product, packaging and pack offering within internal value chain. Deliver finished products on stock.
  • Is responsible for local range management to ensure a sustained yield of rangeland products while taking into account range resource status.
  • Deliver creative assets (digital assets, main images for POS) uploaded for local markets to use.
  • Translates the category strategy guidelines into local marketing campaign by managing local execution of advertisement and promotion activities. Support translation creative assets into local asset/standard POS toolbox (if relevant).
  • Safeguard brand book/guidelines.
  • Deliver standard sales meeting presentation and trade presentation (to be tailored by local Shopper Marketing Team).
  • Monitor/control A&P budget.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Brand Manager with minimum 3 years of relevant experience from FMCG.

  • Commercial understanding.

  • Analytical thinking.

  • Leadership skills – capable of setting and driving the brand agenda, educating the local organization and getting to ‘live’ the principles.

  • Bachelor degree

  • Fluent in Swedish or Danish and English.
