Job Description
As the Global Business Development team, we are dedicated to introducing new consumers around the world to our great brands and range of coffees and teas via our distributor/partner export network.
Our objective is to grow current markets such as Eastern Adriatics (Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia& Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania), Finland, Malta, Iceland, the USA through right portfolio deployment, range management, media planning and ensuring campaign relevance given local culture and customs and then advising on local execution.
In your role as Product Marketeer for the above mentioned markets, your will be responsible for:
- Development of portfolio strategy based on trends, market development, consumer-, customer- and competitor insights, and in line with central marketing guidelines.
- Leading NPD projects.
- Successfully launching products and concepts in the different categories and activation of these products and concept launches.
- Developing product and brand positioning and messaging.
- Providing input on pricing strategy.
- Managing/administrating the portfolio in SAP; keep system up to date
- Translating brand packaging design guidelines into local brand artwork
- Running regular Nielsen/PQA analysis
- Assisting the Business Development/Sales teams on arranging samples, organizing distributor events
You will report to the Global Marketing Manager, Existing Markets. This is a 10-month assignment on JDE contract.
Qualifications
For this assignment, you need to be immediately available.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or Management combined with 2+ years of experience in Product and/or Brand Management. You have commercial acumen, some form of budget management experience where you’ve gained advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ideally, you also have basic SAP knowledge in PO Creation, Invoice Processing, and Portfolio queries.
You’re known for your entrepreneurial spirit, positive attitude and for balancing your analytical, social & creative skills. You’re hands-on, proactive and eager to learn.
