Job Description

As our new Global IT Network Service Manager you will spend the majority of the time managing our service providers on the one hand, and our internal clients on the other. You maintain the highest  customer relationship and -satisfaction levels amidst a changing landscape and you develop a clear vision on our network of the future - and build it.

You will be part of our Global Information Services (GIS) Department  based in Utrecht and responsible for IT in JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS Globally. We partner with the business and provide enhanced Information Services. Besides ensuring the continuity of delivering the required IT-services, GIS will deliver Global Information Management Services to all our Operating Companies.

As key responsibilities, you

  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations are aligned with business needs and consistent with our company values and business model.
  • Help develop  policies in the Network Services and apply a consistent operational acceptance model
  • Are responsibility the management of the service provider(s) and SLAs, OLA’s and SLO’s
  • Are responsible for the stability of the Network environment, and you’ll manage critical incidents and escalations.
  • Proactively  raise system stability and functional improvement proposals to improve services on quality & price and standardize processes used between providers, business and third parties.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, a sound knowledge of network technologies (and frameworks such as ITIL) and you have a proven track record in continuous improvement of Network services.

We would need you to bring  5-7 years of managing Network Operations and vendor relationships and large contracts. Possibly you’ve  had a similar IT Service Manager position or you’ve had a technical role at the start of your career and have moved into account management. You are able to interact with Business and IT stakeholders alike and explain IT in a simple and understandable way.
