Are you ready to join our innovative and entrepreneurial organization? Our enthusiastic and driven Global Sales team, based in Amsterdam, is looking for an experienced and talented Commercial Innovation Manager to join their team. This role is especially created to drive the ongoing trends of more JDE innovations with a global character. The commercial innovation manager will be the sales lead in the cross functional innovation teams. You will work closely with both the launch markets and Global Marketing teams to maximize the impact of innovations from a sales perspective, both conceptually and in execution.
The commercial innovation manager is responsible to design the commercial proposition and Goto-Market strategy of our innovations. Through this role, the customer and the shopper interest are represented throughout the entire innovation process: from early feeding retailer benefits and category growth elements into the proposition to the excellent execution towards the customer and shopper. You will not only drive the strategy but also be responsible to work with the markets to ensure the innovation implementation is in line with defined standards. Overseeing the implementation across, you will also be instrumental to transfer good practices between markets.
The role is based in The Netherlands, with stakeholders both in Amsterdam and Utrecht. It will require occasional travelling to selected markets to work together with the local teams.
Are you the one we are looking for? Do you have solid (8+ years’ experience) in commercial functions in sales or shopper marketing? Are you familiar with consumer marketing and retailers’ ways of thinking? Do you understand how we are doing Shopper Marketing: Customer & Category Growth Model, Perfect Store and Merchandising Principles? Are you result oriented and having a drive? Able to connect and communicate effectively in an international environment and driven organization? Can you listen and sell as well? And last but not least, do you have great leadership capabilities?
