Job Description
Are you passionate about all things coffee? Join our retail leading team as Brand Manager in this exciting time where you can really change the face of New Zealand grocery with a number of our coffee brands.
Based from our offices at East Tamaki and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager NZ you will be building on market-place success focussing on a few of our key coffee brands.
You will play a pivotal role in dealing with the challenges of project management, have full accountability and gain broad marketing exposure as you plan and implement a variety of marketing initiatives. Your ability to grasp the big picture and positive attitude will contribute to this vibrant culture. With the chance to take ownership, and influence peers and management in a global network, this is a real opportunity to make your mark. Your focus will be on NZ’s 3rd largest coffee brand, which is somewhat a maverick within the retail world and for which we have ambitious growth plans for over the next year!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Growing the brand (including developing and executing NPD)
- Local range management
- Local execution and activations on globally driven brands
- Managing external communication activities (including social media)
- Defining and implementing the category plan
- Translating brand packaging design guidelines into local brand artwork
- Supporting the management and development of local brands
Qualifications
About you:
- 3+ years experience Brand Management in an FMCG environment
- Passion for coffee, consumers and customers
- Ambition and willingness to grow and develop
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar
- Commercial acumen with budget management experience
