Job Description

Tassimo is the leading single-serve coffee drinks system in Western Europe and is present in 20 countries, with over 10 million active households. The system is well known for its large branded drink variety delivering high quality coffee drinks at a touch of a button. Key geographies are Western / Central & Eastern Europe and China. Launched in 2004, Tassimo has been one of the key driving brands in the establishment and growth of the single-serve category and is one of JDE’s strongest global brands. Tassimo continues to be successful with appliance sales of over 2 million per year, in close cooperation with its appliance partner BSH.

 

In your role as the Global Marketing Specialist Tassimo you will be the lead for the Tassimo brand equity across categories and countries. You will develop and implement a consistently high-quality brand strategy that is linked to the overall strategy of the company, category strategies and target achievement.

 

Together with the Marketing Director Tassimo, you’re expected to realize a significant growth of the Tassimo brand. You will do this in close alignment with the Global Marketing Manager ‘Drinks Portfolio & Appliance Activation’, the Appliance Partnering Director, the Innovation Marketing Team and the Ecommerce Team.

 

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Global owner and guardian of Tassimo brand positioning, brand meaning & visual identity, including a responsibility for developing packaging design guidelines and web guidelines
  • Handles the total marketing mix of the Tassimo brand and is on top of the in-market performance of the communication toolkit
  • Defines and delivers communication strategy for Brand Equity and product Innovations, translates this into winning communication with our Global Agencies, and lands this in an inspiring global communication playbook
  • Briefs and delivers Digital campaigns for product innovations, as well as an always-on strategy and content creation for the Brand Equity platform
  • Sets media- and investment guidelines together with the Global Media team
  • Responsible for budget setting and providing input to the Global Marketing Director regarding AOP
  • Ensures a consistent presence of the Tassimo Brand at all consumer touchpoints in close cooperation with Digital, Ecommerce and DTC teams as well as the BSH communication team
  • Enhance best practices of lead countries by leading discussions and lead, evaluate and enable global roll-out of these best practices
  • Is accountable for meeting the targets of the Tassimo brand
  • Exemplifies the attitude to be the best in class coffee company for the respective brands.
 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master’s degree combined with 5+ years marketing experience in local & global roles. You have a successful track record as a marketer of brands which are emotionally important for the end customers.

 

You’ve managed a category in a FMCG company, where you’ve been able to create successful online marketing campaigns, while understanding and knowing how to work with a consumer decision journey, including experience in optimizing investments.
