Job Description

Working in the Retail channel of our global coffee and tea business you will manage our relationships with Independent Retailers within Queensland (with a focus on South East). You will build and maintain great relationships with Buyers and ideally you will know some of them already!
Week to week you will:

  • Ensure product promotions are presented in a way that maximizes sales and profit
  • Manage your relevant call cycle and call frequency (25-35 stores per week)
  • Execute promotional and NPD activities at store level 
  • Monitor on-shelf presence to ensure that in-store stock complies with the relevant plan-o-gram
  • Manage point of purchase ensuring that product presentation is exemplary
  • Assist in building displays as required alongside your merchandising partners
  • Attends to all administrative and reporting tasks as needed 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience

  • Experienced FMCG rep with great relationships and the ability to build strong rapport quickly 
  • Great personality, energetic and positive approach  
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to plan and prioritise 
  • Proven track record in sales, negotiation and influencing (with trade references) 
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen 
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to follow through 
  • Suitable level of physical fitness to enable you to safely lift and move stock 
  • A passion for all things coffee and tea!
