Job Description

The Coffee & Tea Sourcing team is based in Utrecht and responsible for all supply of green coffee and tea for the JDE production facilities. You will be part of the Commodity Logistics team that is responsible for all goods movements and related administrative flows, from origin of the coffee and tea up to the door of our factories. The inbound coordinator manages the flow of green coffee and tea from (country of) origin up to arrival in European seaports.

In your role as Logistics coordinator, you'll join a team of 10 professionals and will

  • Manage the purchase order flow from creation of the PO until it is delivery;
  • Monitor performance of the supply chain through KPI tracking;
  • Plan requirements of green coffee and tea in Europe and schedule shipments accordingly;
  • Be in close contact with all supply chain parties to ensure an excellent execution of planned arrivals;
  • Manage the stocks in Europe together with the outbound logistic coordinators;
  • Support the coffee and tea buyers with planning, execution and all other operational issues;
  • Manage all operational issues related to the inbound goods flow;
  • Handle the administrational part of weight claims and/or insurance claims related to the inbound process.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this challenging role, you have at least a Bachelor's degree and experience in supply chain planning and in managing logistic flows. Experience with sea-shipping is a serious plus, as is experience with SAP (R/3 or APO). You must speak both Dutch and English fluently and can be described as an ambitious, open minded team player who is proactive and self-starting.
