Job Description

The Central Costing Department, based in Utrecht, is responsible for delivering global cost price information (updates, analysis and forecasting). They are a key player in specifying the Cost of goods Sold of the company towards each single SKU, and in determining the impacts on the markets for any cost price change. In summary the Costing Team is monitoring and controlling the inventory valuation strategy of the company (IFRS) while at the same time ensuring the correct valuation of all Intercompany deliveries (Transfer Pricing).

In your role as Finance Analyst in Global Product Costing you will be responsible for providing actual intercompany transfer price information. Next to that you will support the Business Units and Management with forecast information related to commodity prices and intercompany transfer prices. You will do this by collecting price & commodity information for the  intercompany transfer price calculations, calculating the full ABC cost price, analyzing the results and taking appropriate actions in case of incorrect results. Part of the role will also be preparing clear communication of results and analysis towards all business stakeholders.

Additionally you will be a financial partner for all internal customers and actively participate in bringing forth ideas for the common goals of the company. You will do this through providing in depth details and analysis to other financials on intercompany transfer prices and assisting with New Product Development calculations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master’s degree in Finance and ideally some experience in controlling. Should you have 1+ year(s) of experience in a controlling function in a manufacturing environment, this will be considered advantageous. You are analytically strong, driven, ambitious, good communicator and a team-player.
