Job Description

As a key member of our ANZ HR team, you will have the opportunity to work both collaboratively and autonomously. We value professionalism, delivery and drive for results… whilst having lots of fun and loving what we do! This role will have responsibilities across a number of sites around Australia, predominantly Gordon and Kingsgrove with some interstate travel also required. 

As our HR Business Partner and reporting through to the ANZ HR Director you will drive both global and ANZ initiatives, ensure strategy implementation, provide advice, support and coaching on all matters including employee relations and enterprise bargaining. Partnering with the General Manager ANZ for our Professional business, you will sit on the local Management team where you will work closely with leaders to drive improved performance through our teams. With a solid commercial acumen, you will be expected to understand the business, the drivers and how the people, culture and talent agenda can contribute to local growth.  How powerful is that! The role includes:

  • Providing business partnering and coaching in driving team engagement, talent development, performance management, organizational structures and resourcing strategies
  • Championing internal communications in accordance with Global and ANZ plans
  • Advocating for culture and people development 
  • Advising on best practices to deliver people / resourcing requirements 
  • Manage IR / ER escalations as needed 
     

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a HR Business Partnering capacity within FMCG, Pharmaceutical (or similar) 
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • ER / IR experience including negotiating collective agreements, managing union relationships  and performance management 
  • Experience in or willingness to adapt to working in a global matrixed environment 
  • Ability to translate plans into actions and manage subsequent projects 
  • Leadership presence - an ability and willingness to inspire change, growth and development 
  • Strong coaching, influencing and negotiating skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Change management experience 
  • L & D experience (with solid facilitation experience)
  • An ability and willingness to balance the tactical “getting things done” and the strategic “steering the ship”
  • A passion for all things coffee!

We are learning and making decisions as we go and we need you to help us guide this period of growth and change.  With the recent acquisition & an SAP project just delivered we certainly do have a busy agenda but you won’t be working alone!
