Job Description

Our vision in digital marketing is to reach coffee consumers with effective digital content, driving sales both instore and online, and ultimately a greater return from our global digital investments. To do this we are transforming our approach to digital media buying, production and optimizations with a stronger centralized team based in Amsterdam. Integral to this transformation is having the best digital minds, steering Jacobs Douwe Egberts into the digital future. 

 

The Global Product Specialist will be responsible for managing and delivering digital projects that require technological builds ie. web shops, websites, applications and tech system solutions. The specialist will work on a global level across brands and respective functions within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on the customers’ expectations and requirements. You are able to work autonomous, and be the single point of contact for both internal teams like IT and e-commerce on tech/ platform and system related questions. But also working with agency partners to ensure that that technological solutions and platforms are delivered on time and to budget.

 

This role sits within our Global Digital team and will work the entire JDE scope.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the tech solution roadmap for digital marketing, looking for the best, future-proof solutions for all markets.
  • Deliver briefs that take into account the technical requirements to deliver the projects.
  • Setup a digital website infrastructure that is scalable, and future proof. Taking into consideration input from stakeholders. 
  • Guide and manage the IT project team resources on behalf of central marketing.
  • Represent marketing in the IT portfolio boards.
  • Collate and represent IT project charters from both local and global markets.  
  • Guide the tech tooling discussion on behalf of central marketing, together with the central CRM & Data and Performance Marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive work experience in mid to large scale project or program management (ideally in Digital Marketing and communications for a global brand or media/agency network)
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMI certified and Agile practitioner are considered a plus).
  • Experience with a DAM, Multi-platform production experience, and experience with Epi and Magento or similar CMS are considered a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures
  • A passion to stay abreast of latest digital marketing technology and web related
  • Strong experience to manage complex projects on a global level
  • Strong experience to work on several projects simultaneously
