Job Description

The Squeeze Program Leader is responsible for identifying and implementing big COG and post-merger synergy saving projects, coordinating a global and cross-departmental team, contributing to the company’s R&D and Operations function.

The Squeeze Program is a new and fundamental piece of the JDE CI Program, to deliver deeper and further Continuous Improvement in cost (and cash). Expectation is to deliver bigger and faster COG initiatives, implemented with Vertical Start-up, and with proven MOS methodologies.

The Squeeze Program Leader reports to the Operational Excellence Director and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish the right cross-departmental teams to identify and implement impactful COG initiatives
  • Identify with Financial rigor best COG initiatives per product category. 
  • Coordinates that COGs Saving projects are delivered fast, with vertical start-up, and minimizing any kind of changes losses (e.g. obsoletes).
  • Applies standard CI methods within MOS (Manufacturing Operating System) to deliver the expected COG savings.
  • Works effectively with key department stakeholders to deliver robust and timely execution of Saving initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in FMCG environment, ideally in Operations;
  • Master degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business Administration 
  • Capability to interact at ExCo level.
  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management;
  • Experience in CI Problem Solving Tools such as Kaizen or Six Sigma;
  • Experience in working in a Matrix organization;
  • Multicultural experience, sensitive for key stakeholder needs, good listener;
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.

 

Additional Information

Occasional traveling abroad to the factories is required (max 25% of the time)
