Business context of the role:

The IT Infrastructure Specialist is a key member in the Cluster IT team responsible for the efficient day-to-day IT Infrastructure services for the cluster businesses, providing input to the Cluster IT Manager to ensure costs and SLA’s are properly captured and reported. The position reports directly into the Cluster IT Manager and dotted into the Global IT End User Services Manager and Global IT Network & Data Center Manager.

About the role:

The IT Infrastructure Specialist ensures that the day-to-day IT operations for End User Services and local Infrastructure are aligned and meet business needs and are consistent with company values and the company’s business model (“Combined Business Model”).

Working together with Network & Data Center Manager and End User Services Manager they will drive Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction, Standardization and Harmonization of the End User Services and Infrastructure services within the Cluster. The IT Infrastructure Specialist supports the Cluster IT Manager on the financial and contract lifecycle execution over the cluster. That includes the AOP construction and the AOP delivery. They work closely the Cluster IT Manager to ensure that ongoing financial activities are executed following guidelines. (e.g. PO processes and monthly reporting).

The IT Infrastructure Specialist key goals are to:

• Ensures an effective and efficient support of End User Services and Local Infrastructure services towards the cluster Business.
• Ensures all Infrastructure within the cluster follows global JDE IT standards, policies and guidelines.
• Work closely with Global IT End User Services Manager and Global IT Network & Data Center Manager and global and local Infrastructure vendors to deploy projects and solutions in the cluster.
• Live the company values – Simplicity, Entrepreneurship, Accountability, Discipline and Solidarity.

Experience required:

• Extensive IT experience;
• Strong affinity in external vendor management and IT Services Management (Technology Operations) in a multi-vendor organization
• Sound knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL v3 (2011)
• Interacts with Business and IT stakeholders, being able to explain IT in a very simple and understandable way.
• Ability to translate understanding of the organization's goals and objectives into operational End-User Services / Infrastructure requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication (English), interpersonal and networking skills required. Work with remote teams.
• Industry experience with a FMCG company is a prerequisite.
• Academic Degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in a quantitative or Computer Science discipline.
