Job Description

In your role as Global Business Process Manager – HR IT (BPM) you will be responsible for providing in-depth business process expertise for all HR processes, from talent acquisition to onboarding, hire to retire, talent & performance management, learning & development to payroll and HR analytics.

These processes are supported by various applications and we are at the start of the journey to optimize the landscape and system design and will focus on the employee experience. The BPM must be able to advise in the design of the technical solution, manage standardization and challenge our service providers. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must to function as a bridge between business users (all levels) and service providers. The Business Process Manager will report to the CoE Manager HR within the Enterprise Solutions team in GIS.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate deep skilled HCM functional business process knowledge
  • Gain consensus on new process concepts and build coalitions to move process improvement starting with the end users in mind
  • Drive & Execute transformation and innovation forward
  • Ensure seamless alignment of HR and IT
  • Enable continuous improvement of business processes through HR IT initiatives
  • Determine the optimal process governance needed in the organization, and manage this decision making and approval process, and its key stakeholders and participants
  • Collaborate with peers in both IT and HR areas to drive the adoption of a process
 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree combined with 5+ years of experience in HR IT (consulting or corporate). You’ve obtained this experience from either the IT or HR perspective, working with an HCM especially around master data, talent management, performance management, payroll and various other sub modules within HCM and involved in solution assessment. design, build & deploy and user training.

 

Should you have been part of multinational implementation programs, this will be considered advantageous. You have experience in interacting with 3rd party application providers, external consultants and other system integrators. You have played a key advisory role on template design, build & maintenance and demonstrated the ability to perform the role of a principle consultant in the area of specialization ideally by the use of design thinking. Thorough understanding of business processes and management systems is required. And you have proven to be able to deliver a strategy in this area and have the ability to work on innovation, continuous improvement and next generation HR IT strategy.
