Job Description

In your role as our new Global IT Security Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of operational Information Security, in cooperation with global asset owners within the IT department.

Your activities will include the development and implementation of Information Security Policies, Processes and Guidelines for the whole company.

It’s key that you to ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the corporate information globally. To do so, you will work closely with the Global IT Compliance Manager and Global Regulatory & Compliance department, with internal & external audit and with our global IT sourcing partners.

Key Responsibilities

You will

  • Provide an educated and analyzed view of the risk and likelihood of threats, and their impact to the business
  • Conduct Security Design Reviews for projects and requests from business
  • Align Business and IT to provide Business Risk based solutions and create business cases.
  • Architect secure solutions for business operations in coordination with IT projects
  • Mitigate risks and design response plans to remediate Business Stoppers  via organizational and technological control & measures development and by working  with vendors
  • Continuously assess actual security measures in place and those established at a policy level - thus highlighting deficiencies for remedial action.
  • Analyze and report on trends, recommend improvements
  • Monitor Compliance by supporting and performing assessments and development of documentation, implementation of procedures
  • Perform awareness activities according to the security Awareness program
  • Provide Policy and Procedures Training

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring 5+ years of experience in IT Security (consultancy), combined with at least a bachelor’s degree. Your approach is service minded, you have strong mediating communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels and business units.

You possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts, as well as experience in developing and documenting security architecture, developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards.  You have excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and common information security management frameworks, as well as wide range of security technologies. You’re able to manage change implementation and acceptance appropriately
