Job Description
Immediate need for Sr. Java Engineer located in SFO, CA on a direct-hire/permanent basis with a leading provider of Financial Asset Management Company. This resource will work with product management and engineers to design, develop and maintain network device integration, management, and reporting software.
The primary focus of this position is to develop for emerging next-generation technologies in the Finance. Seeking an experienced software/systems engineer/developer with proven success designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented, multi-tiered systems using Java/J2EE and other development platforms
Job Description & Responsibilities of Sr. Java Engineer:
- Participate with business and engineering team members in the development of new software projects
- Develop application specifications and designs which are scalable, extensible, maintainable and testable
- Work in a top to bottom environment developing in the Java, UI, application server and database
Desired Skills and Experience of Sr. Java Enginner:
- Strong core Java coding skills, including an understanding of optimization, performance ramifications of coding decisions and object-oriented design
- Experience with and working knowledge of Spring, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, JUnit, DBUnit, Maven, JAXB, XML, RESTful web services and log4j preferred
- 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience using multiple languages, including 4+ years of Java/J2EE technology experience including Spring framework.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills. Someone that is able to pick apart software, analyze it and become a subject matter expert on it
- Bonus skills include: jQuery, PostgreSQL, Angular, and Linux
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000 /year + 15% Bonus
