As a Backend Software Engineer at IronCore, you will work alongside a group of co-workers who believe in building things right, not just getting features out the door. You will help design, prototype, and implement core features of our privacy platform while being a key part of a team that works across functional boundaries to deliver resilient solutions to our customers. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of data security and privacy tools, techniques, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment with software engineers, system architects, and at times, the engineering teams of IronCore’s customers

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of feature development from design through testing, release, and support

• Program in multiple languages to build and enhance our privacy platform in various environments

• Contribute to key open source projects

• Create and deliver best practice recommendations for your peers as well as IronCore’s customers

• 3+ years of relevant work experience

• Strong Computer Science foundations via college degree or coding bootcamp

• Experience with at least one strongly typed language

• Experience deploying and maintaining software in a cloud-based infrastructure

• Flexibility to adapt to the technology most appropriate to complete a task

• A passion for working on data security and privacy

Bonus Points

• Experience working in cryptography and knowledge of cryptographic concepts

• Experience with a variety of different programming languages

• Curiosity or experience in Functional Programming concepts and paradigms

• API/SDK development experience and understanding of developer ergonomics
