As a Junior Software Engineer at IronCore, you will work alongside a group of co-workers who believe in building things right, not just getting features out the door. You will help design, prototype, and implement features of our privacy platform while being a part of a team that works across functional boundaries to deliver resilient solutions to our customers. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of data security and privacy tools, techniques, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative environment with geographically distributed software engineers and system architects

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of feature development from design through testing, release, and support

• Program in multiple languages to build and enhance our privacy platform in various environments

• Contribute to key open source projects

• Participate in code reviews to both assess code quality and grow your understanding of production software

• Teach what you know, learn what you do not. The best education is the person sitting next to you.

• Well developed Computer Science foundations via college degree or coding bootcamp

• Communication and collaboration skills and the ability to ask questions of your peers

• Exposure to different programming languages

• Flexibility to adapt to the technology most appropriate to complete a task

• An interest in working on data security and privacy

Bonus Points

• Exposure to cryptographic concepts and a desire to grow and apply those concepts

• Curiosity in Functional Programming concepts and paradigms
