Job Description

Role summary: 

The training and development division offer a range of bespoke, endorsed, and accredited courses to a diverse range of clients.  Instructors will be covering training facilities in Hereford as well as deployments to overseas locations. Instructors will be required to be deployed internationally, often at short notice .  The role will be to provide training and competence assessments to internal and external clients; there will be an occasional requirement to provide medical support services, often in remote and challenging environments.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Delivery of theory and practical training sessions in accordance with Course Training Plans (CTP) and in accordance with the stipulated requirements of awarding bodies
  • Design and review of bespoke CTP and Lesson Plans (LP) and awarding body requirements
  • Performance of practical competency assessments in accordance with CTP and LP and awarding body requirements
  • Invigilation of theoretical assessments in accordance with CTP, LP and awarding body requirements
  • Conduct of training in accordance with Company policies
  • Active management of Health and Safety during training

Qualifications

  • QA Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF)
  • Level 3 Teaching Qualification
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Customer focused
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills.
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving ability

Additional Information

Key Skills:

  • Current passport with no restrictions on international travel
  • Eligible to work, or resident in the UK
  • Suitable and relevant teaching qualification(s), ideally to level 3 adult education qualification
  • Previous experience in training delivery
  • Experience of working in remote, offshore, or hostile environments
  • HCPC Registered Paramedic with significant experience in role
