Job Description

The Paramedic is required to support the emergency response capability and management of medical emergencies either as an independent clinician or as part of a multi-disciplined team.

· Provide appropriate support for the management of medical and trauma emergencies, including stabilisation and transfer via road ambulance whilst continuing to treat.

· Assess patients, provide emergency treatment and make diagnoses with the provision of a limited primary health care service on site, if appropriate

· Comply with project-specific Medevac plan

· Maintain comprehensive confidential medical records of all patient attendances/contacts

· Ensure the medical equipment, medications and consumables required for the mission are readily available and in date prior to deploying. Any deviations to be reported.

· Provide 24/7 access to emergency support

· Provide clinical feedback to the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, reaching back for support where necessary

· Support clinical excellence and compliance with clinical protocols and SOPs

Qualifications

  • University Degree/Diploma in Paramedic/Medicine   
  • AHA - ACLS (or equivalent)
  • BLS certification. 
  • PHTLS/ITLS trauma certification 
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in paramedicine. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in Ukraine  
  • Fluent English  
  • Experience in driving armored vehicle is desirable
