Job Description

We are looking for Anaesthetists to join our projects in Afghanistan. If you have energy and passion and are looking for an exciting career overseas working as part of a multi-disciplined team, this could be the job for you.

Iqarus delivers intelligent and integrated healthcare solutions in complex and demanding operating environments.  We deliver across the medical spectrum from primary care and occupational health, to advanced pre-hospital trauma care, through to full-scale laboratory, radiological, diagnostic and surgical capabilities.

The main role of the Anaesthetist will be to prepare patients for surgery, administer anesthetics to patients and to observe and monitoring patients during surgery. 

Qualifications

  • Medical graduate, fully registered and currently licensed with no restrictions to practice in country of origin    
  • Post-graduate training in Anesthesiology
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in Anesthesiology.
  • Current certification in A(C)LS or equivalent.
  • Medical currency and proven record of working in their specialisation in a hospital setting within the last twelve (12) months

Additional Information

Rotations are typically 6 -8 weeks on duty and 6 - 8 weeks off duty, but dependent on project site.  Flights, food and accommodation are provided whilst on duty at the project site.
