The Consultant Physician is responsible for leading and supervising the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effectively and efficiently diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the post holder’s care.  The Consultant Physician is expected to be an example of clinical excellence within his or her specialty and to provide leadership and training for junior medical staff.

The Specialist Physician shares the same responsibility of the Consultant Physician for delivering high quality, evidence-based and patient-centred care.  The post holder is expected to be an example of clinical excellence within the Division and contributes to the supervision and training of junior medical staff.

Must have either one of the below from an accredited university along with Specialisation certificate in Critical Care or ICU only.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Fellowship of Egyptian Board
• Clinical Master Degree

Must have atleast 3-5 years experience after obtaining specialisation certificate.
