Job Description

The ICU Nurse is an essential part of the multi-disciplined medical team and the patient’s recovery, responsible for administering intensive and high dependency care to seriously ill and injured patients

Key responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

  • May be required to care for COVID-19 patients
  • Ensuring maintenance of medical records for all patients are kept up to date and at a high standard
  • Management of all medical supplies for the project and resupply requirements
  • Evaluate critically ill or injured patients and provide holistic nursing intervention
  • Consults and coordinates with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Responsible for maintaining ICU care standards
  • Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendation

Qualifications

  • Diploma in nursing recognized within the European Union or equivalent UN approved country.
  • Current unrestricted nursing licensed in home country
  • BLS and ACLS Certificates.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Intensive/Critical Care Nurse.
  • Experience managing Intubated/Ventilated Patients.
  • English language to CEFR Level C1 standard
